Project Description:

Corporate Technology Solutions was contracted for a multi-year build out of two data centers for the City Phoenix. The existing data center (ITOC) is located in down town Phoenix with approximately 20,000 SQ FT of data center floor. In 2012, the City decided to build a secondary Data Center in the I/O Phoenix Data Center Facility.

The first task in the build out was to connect the downtown data center via fiber to the I/O facility. To accommodate this requirement, Corporate Technology Solutions installed (2) new 144SMFO cable from the downtown data center to the I/O facility in a redundant ring.

We have provided and installed year to date a total of (16) HDA rows with (8) cabinets in each row and (4) MDA rows, new 24 strand MM 50um OM4 data center trunks, CAT6A 10gig snap cables, and  all new cable tray in both locations.

Today we continue to work with the City installing HDA rows in both sites and will be installing new rows in the ITOC data center in the spring of 2014.
